How reviews and confirmations work

We ask contributors to share a photo they took and their own experience. Reviews go through automated checks. Flagged reviews can be assessed manually. Approval is not a guarantee that a photo is unedited or free of AI generation.

  • Email address confirmed means the link sent to that address was used. It does not prove a purchase or the identity of a person.
  • Company management confirmed relates to access to this company page. A paid plan does not verify individual reviews.
  • A review invitation does not independently prove a purchase. An order reference supplied by a company is not independent purchase verification either.
  • Publishing a photo with a review does not automatically permit reuse in marketing. A subscription does not grant that permission either.

Personalized hardcover memoir books
Storyworth positions itself in the premium gift and family memory segment, targeting adults who want to capture the life stories of older relatives or document their own experiences. The platform was founded in 2013 by Nick and Krista Baum as a family-owned business, and it remains independent, with no external investors or advertisers influencing product decisions. Its approach treats memoir creation as a guided conversation rather than a writing project, lowering the barrier for people who do not consider themselves writers. With over one million books printed and more than 60,000 Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.7 stars, Storyworth operates at the higher end of the personalized gift market, with plans starting at $59.
