Photo reviews
Photos and experiences shared by contributors. Read below how we check submissions.
How reviews and confirmations work
We ask contributors to share a photo they took and their own experience. Reviews go through automated checks. Flagged reviews can be assessed manually. Approval is not a guarantee that a photo is unedited or free of AI generation.
- Email address confirmed means the link sent to that address was used. It does not prove a purchase or the identity of a person.
- Company management confirmed relates to access to this company page. A paid plan does not verify individual reviews.
- A review invitation does not independently prove a purchase. An order reference supplied by a company is not independent purchase verification either.
- Publishing a photo with a review does not automatically permit reuse in marketing. A subscription does not grant that permission either.
Is there a problem with a review or photo? Contact us with the page link and an explanation so we can examine it. [email protected]

Liberty Shield positions itself in the mid-to-premium segment of the VPN market, originally founded to serve business users requiring secure internet access, though its audience has broadened significantly with the rise of streaming services and global content restrictions. The service is built around residential IP addresses, which distinguishes it from many competitors who rely on data centre IPs that are more easily detected and blocked by streaming platforms. Typical customers include expats wanting access to BBC iPlayer or ITVX from outside the UK, privacy-conscious individuals, and users in regions with restricted internet. Liberty Shield is part of the Scothosts Group and describes itself as an advocate of net neutrality, lending a degree of editorial stance to its commercial proposition.
