Photo reviews
Photos and experiences shared by contributors. Read below how we check submissions.
How reviews and confirmations work
We ask contributors to share a photo they took and their own experience. Reviews go through automated checks. Flagged reviews can be assessed manually. Approval is not a guarantee that a photo is unedited or free of AI generation.
- Email address confirmed means the link sent to that address was used. It does not prove a purchase or the identity of a person.
- Company management confirmed relates to access to this company page. A paid plan does not verify individual reviews.
- A review invitation does not independently prove a purchase. An order reference supplied by a company is not independent purchase verification either.
- Publishing a photo with a review does not automatically permit reuse in marketing. A subscription does not grant that permission either.
Is there a problem with a review or photo? Contact us with the page link and an explanation so we can examine it. [email protected]

CDJapan Rental positions itself as a connectivity service for international visitors to Japan, catering to short-term tourists as well as longer-stay travellers. The service operates across multiple product tiers, from budget-friendly prepaid eSIMs starting at 2,800 yen to rental SIM cards and 5G pocket WiFi devices for those needing broader device compatibility. A notable aspect of the service is its compatibility refund policy: customers whose unlocked devices turn out to be incompatible with the SIM card can return the product within two days for a partial refund, something the company notes is not common among prepaid SIM sellers in Japan. Rental periods are flexible and can be extended online, and all items are handled entirely by post through Japan Post.
