Photo reviews
Photos and experiences shared by contributors. Read below how we check submissions.
How reviews and confirmations work
We ask contributors to share a photo they took and their own experience. Reviews go through automated checks. Flagged reviews can be assessed manually. Approval is not a guarantee that a photo is unedited or free of AI generation.
- Email address confirmed means the link sent to that address was used. It does not prove a purchase or the identity of a person.
- Company management confirmed relates to access to this company page. A paid plan does not verify individual reviews.
- A review invitation does not independently prove a purchase. An order reference supplied by a company is not independent purchase verification either.
- Publishing a photo with a review does not automatically permit reuse in marketing. A subscription does not grant that permission either.

Mechdiy targets enthusiasts of portable retro gaming and home flight simulation, two niche communities that tend to research purchases carefully before buying. The product range sits in the low-to-mid price segment for handheld consoles, with flight simulation hardware extending into more specialised and higher-priced territory. A notable feature of the shop is the Surwish Custom OS service, which offers pre-configured operating systems for certain consoles, appealing to buyers who prefer a ready-to-play setup over manual configuration.
