How reviews and confirmations work
We ask contributors to share a photo they took and their own experience. Reviews go through automated checks. Flagged reviews can be assessed manually. Approval is not a guarantee that a photo is unedited or free of AI generation.
- Email address confirmed means the link sent to that address was used. It does not prove a purchase or the identity of a person.
- Company management confirmed relates to access to this company page. A paid plan does not verify individual reviews.
- A review invitation does not independently prove a purchase. An order reference supplied by a company is not independent purchase verification either.
- Publishing a photo with a review does not automatically permit reuse in marketing. A subscription does not grant that permission either.

Jiminy's targets dog owners whose pets struggle with common protein allergies or sensitivities related to chicken or beef, making it particularly relevant for dogs with itchy skin, digestive issues or low energy. The brand operates in the premium pet food segment, differentiating itself through the use of insect protein, specifically cricket and black soldier fly grub, which it argues is more digestible and environmentally friendlier than conventional animal proteins. Its approach is science-backed and supported by veterinary endorsements, and the company emphasises a direct relationship with customers, as illustrated by accounts of same-day emergency shipping for loyal buyers. Jiminy's is not a budget brand but positions its pricing as competitive compared to prescription diets.
