Photo reviews
Photos and experiences shared by contributors. Read below how we check submissions.
How reviews and confirmations work
We ask contributors to share a photo they took and their own experience. Reviews go through automated checks. Flagged reviews can be assessed manually. Approval is not a guarantee that a photo is unedited or free of AI generation.
- Email address confirmed means the link sent to that address was used. It does not prove a purchase or the identity of a person.
- Company management confirmed relates to access to this company page. A paid plan does not verify individual reviews.
- A review invitation does not independently prove a purchase. An order reference supplied by a company is not independent purchase verification either.
- Publishing a photo with a review does not automatically permit reuse in marketing. A subscription does not grant that permission either.
Is there a problem with a review or photo? Contact us with the page link and an explanation so we can examine it. [email protected]

Big Night was founded in 2021 by Katherine Lewin in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, with the philosophy that hosting does not need to be intimidating and that any night can become a special occasion with the right ingredients and tools. The shop targets home cooks, enthusiastic hosts, and gift-givers who sit in the middle-to-premium segment and are looking for considered, well-sourced products rather than mass-market alternatives. The assortment spans glassware, flatware, table linens, tinned fish, olive oils, condiments, and decorative pieces, sourced from independent and specialty brands across the United States and internationally. Big Night positions itself as a one-stop shop where pantry staples and tableware are treated with equal seriousness, bridging the gap between a gourmet food shop and a lifestyle homeware store.
