Photo reviews
Photos and experiences shared by contributors. Read below how we check submissions.
How reviews and confirmations work
We ask contributors to share a photo they took and their own experience. Reviews go through automated checks. Flagged reviews can be assessed manually. Approval is not a guarantee that a photo is unedited or free of AI generation.
- Email address confirmed means the link sent to that address was used. It does not prove a purchase or the identity of a person.
- Company management confirmed relates to access to this company page. A paid plan does not verify individual reviews.
- A review invitation does not independently prove a purchase. An order reference supplied by a company is not independent purchase verification either.
- Publishing a photo with a review does not automatically permit reuse in marketing. A subscription does not grant that permission either.
Is there a problem with a review or photo? Contact us with the page link and an explanation so we can examine it. [email protected]

Material positions itself in the mid-to-premium segment for everyday home cooks who want thoughtfully designed kitchen tools that are built to last. Founded by Eunice and Dave, the brand draws on their Korean and Vietnamese family backgrounds and a shared belief that cooking should be a pleasure, not a chore. All products are designed entirely in-house, with an emphasis on high-quality materials, functional performance, and considered aesthetics. A notable differentiator is the brand's commitment to sustainability, reflected in plant-based cutting boards free of permanent microplastics, recycled materials, and ongoing charitable donations to food-related organizations across the United States.
